Adventure Scramble Day

Take your sunday walks to the next level with an introduction to scrambling.

Though the Peak District is not renowned for its high mountain routes, it does contain some excellent days out that are far from mundane!

A typical day will involve a hill hike with a short and sharp clough scramble to get the blood pumping, you'll never be further than a few feet off the ground and will keep out of rock climbing territory.

9 Edges Challenge Walk

23 miles and 1200m total ascent makes for a very long day walking!

But you'll take in the nine famous edges of the Peak District from Derwent, Stanage and Burbage to Froggatt, Curbar and Baslow.

If you think your legs have it in them then send me a message and let's arrange it!

Eyam Plague Village Historic Walk

The day will be spent walking from Froggatt to the famous Eyam Plague Village.

Over this 5-6 hour walk we'll visit the houses of those that chose to isolate themselves in order to contain the 17th century Black Death and the boundary stone where neighbouring villages would leave them supplies in exchange for coins soaked in vinegar (believed to kill the disease).
